Our beloved son, husband, brother and uncle, James ("Jimmy") Warren Williams, Jr., age 41, died May 13, 1997 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born April 6, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Warren and Carol Lund Williams. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married Shawn Stevenson in 1980, later divorced. Married Susan Anderson in 1990. Graduated from Highland High School in 1975 where he excelled in sports setting many records in track and field that still stand today. He furthered his education at Utah State University. His love of the outdoors led him to achieve his Eagle Scout at a young age. The family cabin at Brighton was his second home where he and his wife spent many winter and summer weekends. Jimmy's intensity and focus allowed him to have success in water skiing competitions and motocross. He enjoyed tennis, boating and snowmobiling with his wife and friends and kept himself in great physical condition through weight lifting and boxing. Jimmy learned the car business from his father at Schettler-Williams and went on to become General Sales Manager at Larry H. Miller Honda. He was loved and admired by his employees and colleagues. He will be greatly missed by a loving family where he was the peacemaker and eternal optimist. His big heart, generosity and unconditional acceptance brought him many friends from every walk of life.Jimmy is survived by his wife, parents, brother, David (Shelley) Williams; sisters, Karen (Mike) Chaus, Jane (John) Creer, and Marianne Williams; grandmother, Lula Lund, many nieces and nephews and his two Dobermans, Cole and Ashley.

Funeral services will be held Sat., May 17, 1997 at 12 noon, at the Monument Park Stake Center, 1320 S. Wasatch Dr., Salt Lake City. His friends may call Friday, May 16th from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, and at the chapel one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
