Pamela Grace Gibson obituary, 1957-2016Pamela Grace Gibson passed away early the morning of June 1, 2016 after a long fight with cancer. She was true to herself until the end.
She was born in Salt Lake City to William H. Gibson, Jr., and Janet Elizabeth Gerber Gibson 29 July, 1957.
She completed high school at Highland High in Salt Lake City and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and in several other callings. She attended Dixie State College.
She co-owned Alterations Emporium and had spent a life time mastering the skills of tailoring. She was a talented cook and was very creative in many things. She was generous and kind to family and friends.
Preceded in death by both parents and a nephew, Christopher Eno. Survived by siblings Joseph E. Gibson (JoLynn), G. Paul Gibson, and Laurie McBride (Todd), and her nieces and nephews.
She bequeathed her body to the U of U Body Donor program, who have been accommodating in their tender services.
We are grateful to the staff at Woodland Park Care and Intermountain Hospice, and to the Relief Society and visiting teachers, and more especially to her friends who have spent many hours in friendship and service.
A memorial service will be held at the 1st Ward building, 760 East, 7th South, Salt Lake City, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 11 June, 2016. Friends and family welcome to visit at 10:00 a.m. prior to and after services.
