News Death Notice

WILLCOX, Gary Owen 53, of Maineville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at his home. Born July 8, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of Alfred and Ruth Ann Fuller Willcox. He was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather with many friends and was loved by all who knew him. Gary was an IT manager with Johnson & Johnson and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Montgomery, OH. He was a committee member of the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure of Cincinnati and a member and major fundraiser of J & J/Ethicon Endo-Surgery's Team Jeff Cory . Bicycling was a love of his life, as well as boating with his family on Cherokee Lake in East Tennessee. He was the originator of the Bryant Boatowner's Association, which has grown to over 1500 members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Eric and Scott. Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary Elizabeth (McCarter) Willcox; children, Jessica Willco! x of SC; Andrea Willcox of CA; Eric Willcox of Chicago, IL; Emily Kimbley of Lebanon; Hannah Borden Willcox and Natalie Willcox of the home; four grandchildren; sisters, Caroline Burtard of CO and Randelle Harmon of UT. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on April 5, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8250 Cornell Road, Montgomery, OH, with visitation from 11-12:40 prior to the services.
