Steven Guenter Nygard was born on 7 June 1957, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, his father, Guenter George Nygard, was 23 and his mother, D'On Doris Jack, was 20. He died on 5 January 2010, in Murray, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 52, and was buried in Murray, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.
