Obituary

1957 - 2009

"Dearly Beloved" A faithful daughter of God, Shauni Morgan, returned to the loving arms of her Savior on April 15, 2009 after a valiant struggle from illness for many years. She is now rejoicing with parents whom she missed so very much, and who preceded her in death. Shauni was born on Feb. 4, 1957 to W. Spencer and Georgeva Giles Morgan. She has been a faithful daughter of God with many exemplary qualities which include love, patience, understanding, charity, compassion, service and gratitude. Shauni is a faithful member of The LDS Church. She retired from LDS Hospital after 28 years of service where she had been a valued employee. She loved life and she loved her sisters and brother who will greatly miss her: Carol Beal, Judy (George) Latham, Marlene (Larry) Kesler, Spencer (Donna) Morgan, Laurie (Phil) Sainsbury, and her twin Cheryl (Reed) Sprague. She has also left 27 nieces and nephews and 50 great nieces and nephews. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Donald Stromquist, Dr. Bryan Crandall and IHC Hospice team for their extraordinary and loving care. Thank you, Shauni, for lighting up our lives. Funeral services will be held Monday, Apr. 20 at 12 Noon at the Eastridge Ward, 1250 E. 4800 So. where viewings will be held both Sunday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and again Monday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services.
