.Anne Elizabeth Miller 6/02/1957~12/08/2010
Anne Elizabeth Miller, born in Northampton, Massachusetts, passed away on December 8th at her home in Stow, Ohio, where she lived briefly after spending most of her life in Salt Lake City.Anne was a graduate of Highland High School and editor of the school paper. Though a mother of four children and working a full time job, she distinguished herself by earning a Bachelor of Science R.N. degree in 1988 from Westminster College. After graduation she worked at Primary Children's Medical Center in the Intensive Care Infant Unit, treating the most gravely ill babies and children. Outside of her devotion to her own family, her nursing work at Primary was the most important part of her life. She took great joy in helping these children and their families, but sadly also shared in their pain whenever a patient would pass away. Long after leaving Primary, she would refer to her many years there as the most rewarding of her life. Anne loved animals and had cats and dogs throughout her life. Whatever medical attention her pets needed, she would spare no expense to assure that they had the best care available. This love and respect for animals was something she instilled in her children. She is survived by her four children, David, Heather, Zachary and Sarah, and her five grandchildren, Colter, Jacob, Victoria, Cassie and Tyson. She is also survived by her brother Henry and sister Catherine. Celebration in her honor will be on Friday December 17 at 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the LDS ward house 7035 South Nutree Dr. (3360 East). Funeral services will be held Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home on Sunday, December 19th 2010 at noon, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT.
