1957 - 2011
 Kristine Kendall Luchs 1957 ~ 2011 Our beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Kristine Kendall Luchs went home courageously March 24, 2011. She was born March 30, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert M. and Marian N. Kendall. She married Bernard E. Luchs on September 14, 1985 at the "old" Hotel Utah and had two wonderful children, Tom and Abby, whom she adored with all her heart and soul. Her passion in life was children, and children of all ages absolutely loved her. She was a devoted Reid School parent who worked tirelessly to make all school activities memorable both at home and abroad. She will always be remembered as the fun mom who made life a blast for everyone. There was no script for life in her world, and her whimsical spontaneity was a deep part of her charm. She was blessed with many friends who will dearly miss her humor and companionship. Her gorgeous smile and energetic laughter brought light to everything she touched. We will all miss her keen wit and sarcastic sense of humor that will make us laugh forever. Kristine is survived by her husband, Bernard Luchs; father, Robert M. Kendall; son, Tom Luchs; daughter, Abby Luchs; sister, Kim Kendall (Nancy); brother, Richard Kendall (Chantelle). Preceded in death by her grandmothers, mother Marian, brother Robert, and sister Kay. The family would like to thank Dr. William T. Couldwell and Dr. Randy Jensen, as well as medical assistant, Melody Fairborne for their skill and compassion, Tui-Tui Fifita and Nau Masiva for years of devoted care. Special thanks and much love to Becky Lees for always being there. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011, 12:00 noon at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Primary Children's Hospital or Huntsman Cancer Institute.
